Educational Speaking
My name is Marc, and I’m the founder of Diving into Disability, a vibrant, kid-friendly educational speaking program designed to help primary school students understand disability, inclusion, and cerebral palsy in a fun, engaging, and deeply human way.
As someone who lives with cerebral palsy, I bring personal experience, warmth, and humour to every presentation. My sessions are crafted to spark curiosity, build empathy, and empower young minds to see disability not as a limitation, but as a part of the rich diversity that makes our communities stronger.
Each talk is tailored for primary aged children, using colourful visuals, storytelling, and interactive moments to keep students engaged. I introduce concepts like accessibility, kindness, and resilience through real life examples and playful illustrations. The goal is to create a safe space where kids can ask questions, learn openly, and leave with a deeper understanding of how to support and celebrate difference.
I would love the opportunity to visit your school and share this message with your students. Whether it’s a single class, a whole school assembly, or part of your diversity and inclusion curriculum, Diving into Disability can be adapted to suit your needs.
Thank you for considering this opportunity to enrich your students’ learning. I’d be happy to provide more details, availability, or references from other schools I’ve worked with. Let’s teach the next generation how to dive into empathy, understanding, and joy.
